Hot Tub Repair & Cleaning in Reston, Virginia

Nova Spa Cleaning serves Reston from a base next door in Herndon. Joe Magnotti brings 20+ years delivering, installing, selling and servicing hot tubs. We diagnose heaters, pumps, jets, controls and leaks on nearly every hot tub and swim spa brand, alongside cleaning and ongoing maintenance.

Trees are the first factor. Leaves, seed pods, pollen and bark dust land on covers and settle in open water, especially in spring and autumn. That material loads the filter faster and contributes to waterline buildup. In a wooded Reston yard, a quick skim before each soak and regular hot tub filter cleaning make a noticeable difference.

Reston Association’s cluster directory includes South Lakes, North Point, Lake Anne Tall Oaks and Hunters Woods/Dogwood neighborhoods. For a cluster patio spa, tell us which gate and walkway reach the equipment and whether there are community access rules. For a deck installation, confirm that cabinet panels can open without moving permanent boards.

Summer sunscreen, insect repellent and sweat can increase the load on the water. In winter, a loss of heat or circulation deserves prompt attention rather than repeated resets. Hot tub water treatment starts with testing the water and checking filtration rather than adding chemicals by guesswork.

Cloudy water, foam and slick surfaces can come from debris, residues or aging water, but weak circulation can make them worse. We check whether a maintenance problem is connected to an equipment fault. Hot tub deep cleaning tackles heavier buildup, while a hot tub drain and refill provides a fresh water reset when appropriate.
